36% of people aged 18 to 54 years old have dreamed of opening a restaurant. The most popular choice for 18–34 would be a coffee shop/café, while those aged 35–54 would prefer to open a family or casual dining restaurant.
Also, 80% of Canadians agree that they enjoy going out to restaurants to connect with their friends and family and 75% of Canadians agree that restaurants are a great place to have a memorable experience.
